4.1.6 The right to data portability (obtaining a copy of your personal data to re-use with another service or organisation);

4.1.7 The right to object to Us using your personal data for particular purposes; and

  1. What Data Do We Collect?

Personal data is any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.  It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

Depending upon your use of Our Site, we may collect some or all of the following personal data about you:

5.1 identity data such as name, title, date of birth;

5.2 contact information such as billing and delivery address, email addresses and telephone numbers;

5.3 financial and transaction data including bank/payment card details and details of payments you have made and the products you have bought via Our Site;

8.1 We only keep your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary in order to use it as described above in section 7.  We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.

8.2 To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process the data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.  You can request from us details of retention periods for different aspects of your personal data.

8.3 Many of our external third parties (including those we refer to in paragraph [9.1]) are based outside the UK or have group companies which are based outside the UK, and their processing of your personal data will involve a transfer of data outside the UK.  Whenever we transfer your personal data out of the UK, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by ensuring that at least one of the following safeguards is implemented:

8.3.1 we will only transfer your personal data to countries that have been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection for personal data; and/or

8.3.2 where we use certain service providers, we may use specific contracts approved for use in the UK which give personal data the same protection it has in the UK. 9.1 Subject to section 9.2, we will only share your data with Mailchimp and Stripe for marketing and payment processing.

9.2 In certain circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal data, for example, sharing data with essential subcontractors such as payment processing services, IT support and delivery companies; where we are involved in legal proceedings, where we are complying with legal obligations, a court order, or a governmental authority.  

9.3 We may compile statistics about the use of Our Site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales, and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying data, or any anonymised data that can be combined with other data and used to identify you. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.
